Marion E. Setser, 79, Montrose, Pa., passed away on February 4, 2005, at the Endless Mountains Health Systems, Montrose, Pa., after a long illness. She was born in Forest Lake Twp., Pa., to the late Harry and Mabel (Weiss) Blaisure.
Her husband of 41 years, Laverne I. Setser, predeceased her in 1987.
A son and daughter-in-law, David and Cecelia Setser, Bowie, Md.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene and John Tewksbury, South Auburn, Pa., Dawn and Ronnie Romain, Binghamton, N.Y., Connie and Frank Reimbold, Galena, Md., Debra and Tom Honeyford, Montrose, Pa.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Joyce Blaisure, South Montrose, Pa., Dick and Nancy Blaisure, Montrose, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins survive Marion.
She worked for 35 years for the Bendix Corp., was a member of the American Legion Gardner-Warner Post No.154 Ladies Auxiliary, and the VFW Ayres-Stone Post 5642 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was an avid crafter, lover of crossword puzzles and of playing cards. In her retirement years, her children and grandchildren were her main focus.
A funeral service was held February 8, 2005, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Pastor Reggie Russell of Bridgewater Baptist Church, Montrose, Pa., officiating.
Interment was in the South Montrose Cemetery.
Visitation was held February 7, 2005 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marion's name may be made to the Endless Mountains Medical Care Foundation 78 Grow Ave., Montrose, PA 18801.
