She enjoyed quilting, playing pinochle and rooting for the Phillies.
Born in Mount Pleasant Township, Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. and Dorothy Melhorn Wagaman.
She was married to the late Robert J. Ackerman.
She is survived by a son, Larry J., married to Joan Ackerman of Andrews, N.C.; a daughter, Elizabeth A., married to Carman Taglieri of Lancaster; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
