David Junior Garrett, age 80, of Andrews, NC passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Valley View Care & Rehabilitation Center in Andrews, NC.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC; son of the late David and Nellie McTiger Garrett. David was a member of Hiawassee Baptist Church. He was a retired truck driver and heavy equipment operator. David enjoyed coon hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Buckie Garrett, two sons, Dale Garrett and Jack Garrett and two sisters, Louise Wilkersin and Icey Garrison.
Burial will be in the Moss Cemetery in Marble, NC.
