Funeral rites held for Johnny Adams

Funeral services for Johnny Adams, Premium, were conducted at the graveside in Isom Cemetery Wednesday by Elders Ray Collins and Manus Ison.

Mr. Adams died Monday at his home.

He was a son of the late Sam and Martha Craft Adams. He was a member of the Little Colly Regular Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mattie Blair Adams; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Fox and Mrs. Mary Agner, both of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; seven sons, Virgil Adams, Lawrenceburg, Ind.; Dr. Lundy Adams, Blackey; Raymond Adams, Arnold Adams, Arlie Adams, Jesse Adams and Truman Adams, all of Premium; two brothers, Kenny Adams and I. D. Adams, both of Jeremiah; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Blair, Jeremiah, and Mrs. Mary Ashley, Amburgey; 27 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Blair Funeral Home had charge of funeral arrangements.
