Milford Albert

SANDY RIDGE Milford N. Albert, 72, of Sandy Ridge, died Wednesday evening, May 4, at Philipsburg State General Hospital.

He was a retired security officer for the state of New York.

Born March 12 1916, in Rush Township, he was a son of Newton and Myrtle (Parsons) Albert and was a member of the First Church of Christ, Philipsburg.

Survivors include his wife, the former Minnie Kanouff, whom he wed July 9, 1940; children Ronald N. of Tonawanda, N.Y., Milford Jr. of Jacksonville, N.C., Mrs. Sara Say and June, both of Niagara Falls, N.Y.. Mrs. April Williams of Potterville, Calif., Mrs. Dorothy Povalitis of Visalia, Calif., and Mark of Sandy Ridge.

Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren, these brothers and sisters, Mrs. Esther Stevens of West Decatur, Mrs. Evelyn Williams of Allport, Clarence of West Decatur R.D., Henry of Lockport, N.Y., and Mrs. Gloria Martin of Niagara Falls; and these stepbrothers and stepsisters, Beatrice Phillips of Niagara Falls, Ethel Weller of State College, Annabelle Smeal and Leroy Fahr, both of West Decatur, and Merle Fahr of Osceola Mills R.D.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills, with the Rev. William R. Fowler.

Interment will take place in the Bradford Cemetery.

Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
