On September 3, 2008, God sent his angels to take Linda Kay Davis, 63, of Garretts Bend, to her heavenly home.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jack, and her son Randy.

She attended Elizabeth Baptist Church. Throughout her life, Kay unselfishly gave to her family, friends, and community and she was well-respected and loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Ronda L. Pereira and her husband, Mitchell of Midlothian, Virginia; son, Jack R. Davis, II of Midlothian, Virginia, who is a member of the Military Service; daughter, Tammy J. Hawkins and her husband, Efrem of Corona, California; six grandchildren, Anthony A., Jonathan M., and Mitchell A. Pereira II, Jared S.R., Derrick J.R., and Samantha I. Hawkins.

It would be impossible to list all of her family and friends that will miss her deeply because she was a friend and was loved by everyone who met her.

The memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Paul Cemetery, Garretts Bend, where we will be sharing our happy memories of her.

Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, in care of arrangements.
