John P. Bausher, 65, of 307 Pennsylvania Ave., Shoemakersville, was dead after arrival Thursday at 11:38 a.m. in the St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Upper Tulpehocken Township he was a son of the late Harvey W. and Suela S. (Wagner) Bausher. Before retiring in January, he was employed by Carpenter Technology Corp., for 37 years, last working as an inspector. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Perry Township, where he was a former consistory member, and was a member of the Shoemakersville Fire Co. Surviving are his wife, Esther E. (Schappell) Bausher; one son, Larry P., Wallingford, Conn.; one grandson. Also a sister, Sarah, widow of Lester Unbenhauer, Bethel R.D. 1, and four brothers: Rufus, Lenhartsville R.D. 1; George W., Strausstown; Roy S., Hamburg R.D. 3, and Elmer R., Mohrsville R.D. 1. Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the M. Domer Leibensperger Funeral Home, Hamburg, the Rev. Alferd H. Erb officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Perry Township.
