A veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Garrard was also a member of Constellation-Edison Park Masonic Lodge #974 A.F. & A.M.,the Scottish Rite Bodies-Valley of Chicago, Medinah Temple Northwest Suburban Shrine Club, the Order of Yellow Dogs, and VFW Tioga Post #2149.
He was the beloved husband of the late Jeanne Garrard (Nee Yacono); loving father of Gigi (Steven) Gruber and the late Todd Garrard; dear grandfather of Sheena and Tara; and fondbrother of Don (Donna) Garrard.
