The only drowning accident in Genesee County July 4th occurred at the Ambluco bluestone quarry near Portageville. Raymond D. Baker suffered an apparent heart attack while swimming. He had a history of heart problems. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond T. Baker of Castile. he was born in Pike, NY, April 11, 1910. Besides his parents he is survived by 3 sisters, Margaret, Juanita and Geraldine.
