Born in Germany October 18, 1877, a daughter of Daniel Frederick and Agnes C. Kunley Hahn, she came here from Batesville in 1916. Her husband died in April of 1944.
Mrs. Monk was a member of Central Christian church, the Loyal Women's Bible Class, and the Golden Age group.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Fred Huffmeier and Mrs. William C. Williams of Connersville; a son, Albert F. Monk, of Indianapolis; a brother, Albert Hahn, of Clearwater, Fla.; three grandchildren and a great grandson. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Rites will be conducted by Rev. L. Eugene Brown at 10 a.m. Friday in Myers Funeral Home where friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
