Joe Raymond Andrews was born in Oregon County, Missouri, on March 17, 1927. He passed from this life at the age of 88 on August 4, 2015, in Norman, Oklahoma. Joe grew up in Alton, Missouri and graduated from Alton High School in 1945. On June 19, 1953 he was united in marriage to Mary Ellen Humphrey. He lived for many years in St. Louis, Missouri and also in Springfield, Missouri. Joe worked at Independent Packing Plant in St. Louis. Joe and his family returned to Alton, Missouri to be near his mother and extended family. He worked at Southwest Truck Body in West Plains, Missouri and retired in 1989. One year later Joe and Mary Ellen moved to Neosho, Missouri, where they resided for 17 years. They then moved to Norman, Oklahoma in 2008 where Joe resided until he went home to meet Jesus.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Ray Andrews and Goldie Fanning Andrews and his sister, Deloris Harriell.

Joe is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen, son Jerry , son Gary two grandsons, , one brother Ray, nephew Jason and nephew Gentry
