Samuel Nell Alford Williams, an extraordinary woman with a big heart and a fascinating spirit spent her final days with the ones that loved her.
She was born to the parentage of Andrew Alford and Mercedee Washington Alford; both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Ashley and Shirley Alford.
Nell was a graduate of the class of 1967 of the former Butler High School of Freestone County. She attended Prairie View University where she graduated with an associates degree in secretarial science.
She was married to Simmie Williams to which three children were born, namely; Rodney, Tamara and LaKesha Williams. Nell was grandmother to Taylor Simmone and Matthew Williams.
She was formerly employed by Xerox, Proline, the City of Dallas and Aldus.
At her demise, she leaves her children and grandchildren; son-in-law, Byron Williams; sisters, Ruthie Jean Hamilton, Andrea McKinney, and other extended family and friends.
