Obituary:
Chester Wisniske, 70, 608 1/2 N. Fourth St., DuBois, died early today in Maple Avenue Hospital following an extended illness. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9 a.m. from St. Catherine's Church with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Paul E. Gooder, celebrant. Interment follows in St. Catherine's Cemetery. Friends will be received at the James H. Luther Funeral Home tonight from 7-9 pm.; Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mr. Wisniske was born in Poland Jan. 1, 1904, son of Frank and Frances Wisniske. He was married to Charlotte M. Briggs, who survives. Mr. Wisniske was a retired miner; member of St. Catherine's Church; U.M.W. of A.; Polish Citizens Club; Lithuanian Club; and I.P.S. Club. In addition to his wife, he is suvived by two daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Margaret) Hartzfeld, Luthersburg; Jacqueline, at home; a son, James, Lincoln Park, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Eugenia Reinhart, Allen Park, Mich.; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Luther Funeral Home tonight from 7-9 p.m. 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Mass Wednesday at 9 a.m. from St. Catherine's Church. Interment in Catherine's Cemetery.
