MIDLAND-- Services for Gertie Alice Jones, 83, of Midland, are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Iatan Cemetery near Westbrook, under direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton.
She died at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday in the Permian Lodge Nursing Home in Midland.
She was born June 23, 1894, in Taylor County, and moved to Midland in 1968 from Loraine.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Ollie B. Smith of Midland; and one brother, Ed Sweatt of Midland; and a number of nieces and nephews.
