Velma Neal Dies, Services Wednesday

Services for Mrs. William (Velma Ruby Ames) Neal, 76, of 103 South Osage, Caldwell, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, in the First United Methodist Church, Caldwell. Mrs. Neal died at 3 a.m. Monday, April 5, in the District Hospital following an extended illness.

Schaeffer - Reager Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Neal was born Jan. 11, 1906, in Kansas City, the daughter of Donald Lewis and Harriet Nancy Lewis. Her first husband Max D. Ames preceded her in death.

Mrs. Neal was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Neal is survived by her husband, William Neal Sr.; one son, Max D. Ames of Fairfax, Va.; one daughter, Marvel Gilger of Hutchinson, Ks.; step-sons, Robert E. Neal and William H. Neal Jr., both of Caldwell, and Bruce A. Neal of Norman, Okla.; step-daughters, Beverly Covey of Caldwell, Bonita Hays of Wellington.

A memorial in Mrs. Neal's name has been established with the United Methodist Church Building Fund.
