She was predeceased by her husband Earl Marvin Sr. in 1994 after 48 years of marriage; a daughter Diane Marvin in 1978; a grandson Robert Testa, Jr. in 1999; and a son-in-law Patrick Kelly in 1994.
Alberta is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Earl and Sandy Marvin Jr.; three daughters and son-in-laws Doreen and Art Moat, Barbara Kelly, and Carol and Bob Thatcher Sr.; eleven grandchildren Tim, Shannon, Steve, Andy, Ronnie, Rodger, Randy, Stephanie, Robert Jr., Brooke and Courtney; 19 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Francis and Sylvia Follette, Vestal, NY; sister Arlene Follette, Johnson City, NY; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Mom worked at Varsity Mfg. until she retired once; and went back to work in 1995. She loved buying lottery tickets, crocheting and sewing. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015, at 11am at the Hennessey's Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, with Rev. Jane Pykus officiating. Interment will be held in the North Jackson Cemetery, North Jackson, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 7 to 9pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
