William was born September 1, 1946 in Winfield, Alabama to T.H. and Hazel Henderson Sloas. He married his soul mate, Kathy Hutsell, on March 25, 1983. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
William was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Larry Sloas and Jerry Sloas.
Survivors: wife of 33 years, Kathy Sloas; children, Lenore Abrahams, Cindy Stephens and husband, Justin, and William Sloas; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Deborah Morton and Renay Sloas; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
