Viola M. Allbritton, 101, passed away April 11, 2009.

She was born March 14, 1908 to Henry and Hanna Cormany in Barberton. She was a member of Lockwood United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for over 20 years. Viola was involved with Summit County Board of Mental Retardation and volunteered at Weaver School. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, and spending time with her family.

Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon Allbritton; daughters, Lila Allbritton and Marjorie Estep; and son-in-law, Ernest Estep. She is survived by her son, Ray (Roberta) Allbritton; daughter, Donna Weidman-Urbain (Thomas Urbain); seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces.

Friends may call at Lockwood United Methodist Church, 3680 Manchester Rd. on Thursday, April 16 at 12 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Lockwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Summit County Board of Mental Retardation, in memory of Viola.
