Mrs. Ottilia A. Berres, 75, of 37 Saratoga Avenue, wife of Henry E. Berres, passed away at her home at 10:45 o'clock this morning. She had been in failing health the last several years.

Mrs. Berres was born Dec. 30. 1869, in Marathon, Wis., and was married to Henry E. Berres in that city July 5, 1892. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1942. The couple lived in Marathon and Portage before coming to Oshkosh 34 years ago.

Mrs. Berres was a member of St. Mary's church and Christian Mothers' society and Altar society of that church.

Survivors besides the husband are one son, Cletus J. of this city; three brothers, Herman J. and Peter S. Hornung, both of Marathon, and Anton K. of Edgar. One sister. Mrs. Helen V. Knauf of Marathon, and two brothers preceded her in death.

The remains have been taken to the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home, but funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later.
