Mamie Barclay Sevy
Funeral services were held today for Mamie Barclay Sevy, 85, 66-765 Flora Ave., Desert Hot Springs, who died Wednesday in Desert Hospital after a short illness. A lifelong resident of California, she had lived in Desert Hot Springs for 13 years.
She is survived by three sons, Carlton and Edwin Sevy of Encino and Leo Sevy of Tarzana; a daughter, Marjorie Mortensen of Petaluma; and a sister, Maude Velencia of Santa Monica.
Bernece Rolfes. Christian Science practitioner at Desert Mortuary Chapel, and Willene Miller, speaker at Moeller Murphy Moeller chapel in Santa Monica, conducted services.
Interment was in Woodland Cemetery at Santa Monica.
