Michael worked as a language teacher for Doshesha International Jr. and Sr. High School, in Japan. He enjoyed traveling, reading, and was a member of the Rotary Club. He also loved music and theatre.
He is survived by his sister, Constance “Connie” Creviston, Marion; nephew, Kirk (Petra) Creviston, Germany; step-mother, Betty Cox, Marion; step-sister, Lynn (John) Swain, Lafontaine; step-brother, Richard G. Reiley, Greenwood; great nephew, Kevin Creviston; great niece, Julia Algeir, as well as several cousins.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his nephew, Michael Lee Creviston.
Services for Michael will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at First Friends Church of Marion, 2211 N. Wabash Rd. Marion, IN 46952 with Pastor Jeff Nagell officiating. Burial will follow in Grant Memorial Park.
The family will accept visitors from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the church.
Arrangements entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. Marion, IN 46952.
