Born in Union, SC, January 28, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Hezekiah "Hez" Barnett and Lois (Jett) Barnett.
Former owner and operator of Todds Upholstery, Mrs. Todd was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women, the Senior Adult Sunday School Class, and was a former Sunday School teacher.
Survivors are a daughter, Elaine T. Pettit and husband Andy; a son, Kenneth Wayne Todd and wife Elsie; a sister, Jean Shetley all of Union; four grandchildren, Brian Davis, Todd Davis, Daniel Todd and Christie Hall; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Bethel United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Terry Mitchell. Burial was in Union Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers were Carrol Alexander, Sr., George Schriber, Freddie Puckett, James Shetley, Don Foster and Earl Coleman.
Memorials could be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 1705 Lockhart Highway, Union, SC 29379.
