Celine Roberts, 88, formerly of 1806 E. Main, died at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 1984, at the Good Samaritan Care Center.
She was born Sept. 8, 1895, in Bousseur, Belgium to Gustave and Dessere Mark DuBois. She had lived in Ottumwa since 1928 and had been a waitress at Harry Herman's café.
Surviving are one daughter, Madeline Carr of Ottumwa; two sons, Gus Reck and Joe Reck, both of Ottumwa; 18 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Julia Fowles of Ottumwa and Bertha Goodsell of Fairfield.
She was preceded in death by two sons and a daughter, Tom and John Reck and Adeline Reck.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Reece Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Bill Reck, Roger Reck, Joe Reck Jr., Ronald Carr, Ed Reck, Don Reck and Jerry Meiers.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
A memorial has been established to Alzheimers Disease in care of the funeral home.
