Bev was a retired production control supervisor at Lexington, Kentucky Bluegrass Army Depot and Raytheon – E Systems. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and a United States Army Veteran. He was a program coordinator for AARP Tax Program for more than 20 years and a Kentucky Colonel. He was an avid UK Basketball fan with season tickets for 60 years and a member of NAARFE.

Funeral services were held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. Ed Toler. Pallbearers were Spencer McElroy, Will, Rick, Terry and Daniel Omohundro, Shannon Cox and Mike Anderson. Honorary pallbearers were Jacob and Matthew Omohundro, NAARFE members, AARP Tax Preparers and members of his Sunday School Class.
