Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home in McKee, Kentucky for Dharma Louise Durio Jones, age 56, who departed this life on Monday, July 27, 2015 in Fort Worth, TX.
Her burial is to follow in Tyner Cemetery in Tyner, KY.
Mrs. Jones, a resident of McKee, Kentucky, was born May 30, 1959 in Jennings, LA. She was a professionally trained caregiver and spent her life assisting senior citizens, special needs adults and the homeless. She didn't know a stranger and her door was always open to anyone in need. She particularly loved traveling the country with her beloved husband, Roger, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband and companion of 21 years, Roger Jones of McKee, KY; six children, daughter Sadie Thibodeaux and her husband Nick of Breaux Bridge, LA; son Broc Crochet of Farwell, TX; daughter Brandy Jones Baldwin and her husband William of Tyner, KY; son William Jones of Tyner, KY, son Jesse Jones of McKee, KY and son Joshua Jones of Kansas City, KS; three siblings, sister Lan Baumann and her husband Wilfred of Georgetown, TX, brother Luke Durio and his wife Kaye of Nordheim, TX, and brother Schirmer Durio and his wife Phyllis of Jennings, LA; and 12 grandchildren.
Dharma was preceded in death by her parents, Earline and Luke Durio, Sr. of Lake Arthur, LA.
Pallbearers will be Luke Durio, Schirmer Durio, Wilfred Baumann, Nick Blady, William Baldwin, Jesse Jones and Joshua Jones
