NOTE: In good faith, and trust in the source I had acquired at the time, I originally added this memorial for James Richard "J.R." Noland into Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville, Bartow Co., Georgia -- but continued to research for further documentation to add. Thanks to the obituary resources that are continually added to internet,(and free for the public) I finally found the obituary for J. R. Noland on: The West Georgia Historic Newspapers database in "The Carroll Free Press, Carrollton, Carroll County, Georgia; Thursday, March 22, 1917", which gave his burial location, which was Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Carrollton, Carroll Co., GA. I have therefore placed his memorial in the correct cemetery and added his obituary to his memorial. I do not live in Georgia and am unable to travel to the cemetery that he is buried in, but I have placed a request on Find A Grave for a photo of his grave marker to be added to his memorial,

BELOW IS INFORMATION FROM THE PAGE OF THE WEST GEORGIA HISTORIC NEWSPAPERS DATABASE, WHERE I BEGAN MY SEARCH FOR MORE INFORMATION ON JAMES RICHARD "J.R." NOLAND AND THEN FOUND HIS OBITUARY IN THE CARROLL FREE PRESS (CARROLLTON), 1883-1922, AFTER A VERY LENGTHY SEARCH.
