Born Dec. 18, 1921, in Catawba County, she was a daughter of Addie Lee Whitener Fisher and the late Perry Gordon Fisher.
She was employed by Joan Fabrics.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are five sisters, Mrs. John (Dolly) Hawn, Mrs. C.W. (Jamie) Bumgarner, Mrs. Stephen (Becky) Estes and Mrs. Jim (Phyllis) Burns, all of Hickory and Mrs. J.D. (Ruth) Gaston of Cherryville; three brothers, Ralph Fisher, Clyde Fisher and Ray Fisher of Hickory; a god-child, Elizabeth Estes Painter of Neptune Beach, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Faith United Church of Christ, where she was a member. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
