Wanda (Toots) was a fine Christian woman, whose walk with the Lord led her to the true love of her life Ben F. Adkins, Sr. Their unity brought two families together, sharing four children; Rod, Russ, Barbara and Ben Jr.
Ben and Wanda owned and operated Pioneer Furniture in Oklahoma City, serving the community for 18 years. Upon retirement they traveled across the country with The Oklahoma Airstream Club, enjoying the countryside and fellowship with their many friends across the U.S.
Wanda loved her church, Council Road Baptist Church and her church family.
Wanda is survived by stepson, Ben Adkins Jr. and wife, Christy; son-in-law, Johnny Chatham and wife Carol and daughter-in-law, Cindy Davis; grandchildren, Kristin, Brian, Deborah and Justin; great-grandchildren, Grant, Garrett, and Trinity; brother, Pat Moore and a host of other family and friends.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Hollie and Opal Moore; husband, Ben Adkins, Sr.; sons, Rod and Russ Davis; daughter, Barbara Chatham; grandson, Johnny Glen Chatham; brother and sister-in-law Jack and Virginia Adkins; and sister-in-law, Dee Moore. All who had the privilege of knowing her are truly blessed.
