Carroll, William B., 88, of Plant City, died Sunday (Dec. 30, 1990) at Gulfport Convalescent Center. He was born in Belleville, Tenn., and moved to Plant City from East Aurora, N.Y., in 1958. He had retired from the U.S. Navy after 30 years of service and was a member of the First United Methodist Church; John Bailey Nicklin Masonic Lodge, Chapter 712, Chattanooga, Tenn.; and the Fleet Reserve Association. Survivors include his wife, Elouise W.; four sisters, Kathleen Parks of Nashville, Tenn., Nell Hargraves, Ruth Claiborne and Mable Skidmore, all of Chattanooga; and many nieces and nephews.
