Mr. Leroy Botkins, age 66 of Manchester was born on Dec. 10, 1948 in Manchester, Ky. to the late John and Sudie Brumley Botkins, and departed this life on Thursday, July 16, 2015 in the Lake Cumberland Medical Center in Somerset. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Botkins, three sisters: Alpha Botkins, Alma Faye Wombles, and Anna Belle Jones; and by two brothers; Gilbert Botkins and Marshall Botkins. Also by his nephew Eddie Wallace Feltner. He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Barger and husband Tim; a son; Shane Botkins and wife Tiffany; Jeremy Vivian, who he raised as his own; a sister; Shelby Soto; four grandchildren; Chasity Barger and Ben Samuel Barger, Cameron Botkins and Cass Botkins. three great grandchildren; Ryder Barger, Bentley, and Rylee; his bes friends his dog: Baby. Funeral services for Leroy Botkins were conducted on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Manchester Pentecostal Church with Rev. Scotty Jewell officiating. Burial followed in the Engine Cemetery off Rt. 11; with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
