Evelyn retired from Marsh, where she worked in the cosmetic department. She previously worked at Montgomery Ward. She attended Jones Chapel Christian Church and was a member of the Eastern Star and Swayzee Lodge. Evelyn enjoyed listening to country and western music, traveling, going out to eat, and, when she was younger, she really enjoyed riding horses. Most of all, Evelyn loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Ronald (Ruby) Weller, TN; daughter, Linda (Glen) Hoke, Marion; grandchildren, Rheonna Martin, Sandra (Chris) Porter, Karen (Mark) Potts, and Timber (Rebecca) Weller; great-grandchildren, Danny Porter, Christopher Porter, Devin Pavusa, Dillon Pavusa, and Craig Weller; as well as 2 great-great-grandsons.
In addition to her parents, Gurnie and Edith McMasters, and husbands, Evelyn was preceded in death by her grandson, Randall Weller.
Services August 3, 2015, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Rybolt Chapel, 314 N. Washington St., Swayzee, IN 46986, with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will follow in Thrailkill Cemetery
