Monte Janssen was a teacher at Willa Cather Elementary School in Omaha, Nebraska. One family wrote, "All of our children attended Willa Cather school and had Mr. Janssen as a teacher. He was such a great teacher. The education system needs more teachers like Mr. Janssen. I think all of his students responded to him in such a positive way. He left an impression on our children - Luke, Rachael & Ben - that lasts yet to this day."
He enjoyed and spent time with his extended family. As a relative, Julie, noted, "We will miss him and his great grilling at our family get-togethers."
