Jesse Hasan Shabazz, 62, a resident of Tallahassee, FL passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015.
He was born August 10, 1952, in Tallahassee, to the late Buster Reynolds and Gertrude Harley. He was married to Linda Nadirah Patterson, and was a follower of the Islamic faith. He was an engineer at the FSU Power Plant.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Shabazz; children, Jamal Shabazz, Ari Shabazz, Hasan Shabazz, Malcolm Shabazz, Mohammad Shabazz; numerous grandchildren; and his sibings, Jeff Harley, Jack Harley, Cedrick Harley, Magalene Harley, Gloria Harley, Lynn Harley, Isaac Reynolds, Howard Reynolds, Ira Reynolds, Lessie Collier and Ruth Crowell; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including Mr. Sonny Smith, who was always an inspiration.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Abbey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Centenary AME Church Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be conveyed at www.abbeyfh.com.
