Graveside services for Preston LaVon
Moore, 82, of Antlers, Okla., were held at
2 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at
Mount Olive Cemetery in Center with
David J. Smith officiating.
Mr. Moore passed away Friday, June
22, in Hugo, Okla. He was born June 27,
1924, in Nacogdoches County to Monroe
and Myrtle Cantrell Moore. He had lived
in Rattan, OK since 1987. After serving in the
Navy and the Coast Guard, he worked as
a policeman, later as a cosmetologist, and
then as a security guard.
He was preceded in death by two brothers,
Leon and O'Neal, and three sisters,
Mae, Odessa, and Roselene. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Moore of Antlers, Okla.; two daughters,
Elaine Moore of Haltom City and Sherry
Rust of Hurst a brother Grady Moore of
Hermitage, Ark.; two grandsons, Landon
and Kellen Rust
His other brothers were Rachel Oneal Moore
and Grady Ray Moore. Also a Sister Donnis Odessa L moore.
