Born in Roselle, N.J., on November 12, 1916, he was the son of the late Lester Percy and Ada Maude Marian Price Hyatt. He retired from Prudential Insurance after 35 years of service, and was a member of NARFE (National Association of Retired Federal Employees), AARP, and was the oldest living member of Charity Baptist Church. He enjoyed golf, tennis, ping-pong, horseshoes and traveling in his R.V., according to loved ones. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, having served during World War II. Mr. Hyatt was preceded in death by a son, Larrie Hyatt; brothers, Norman Hyatt, Gordon Hyatt and Richard Hyatt; and a sister, Gladys Nelson.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Moses Hyatt, Homer; son, Timothy Allen Hyatt, Washoe Valley, Nev.; grandchildren, Jeffrey Aaron Hyatt, April Ann Hyatt, and Stuart Stanley Hyatt; and great-grandson, Aaron Hyatt.
