Mason Filmore Foley, 81, died at 9:30 Monday evening at his home on Seventh avenue, South Side. Mr. Foley was born July 24, 1857, and he was a member of a prominent Wood county family.
Surviving are his widow, Mary B. Foley; three daughter, Mrs. Hazel Purvis, Mrs. Bessie King of this city; three sons, Douglas Foley of Washington, D.C., Cecil and Harry Foley of this city. One daughter preceded him in death. Also surviving are on half-brother, Joseph Foley of Mineral Wells, and then grandchildren. Mr. Foley was a member of the Baptist church. The body was removed to the Vaughan funeral home pending completion of funeral arrangements.
