MRS ELMER TARLTON'S DEATH CAUSED BY CANCER
Funeral to be Held at Cedar Chapel Thursday Afternoon
Funeral services for the late Mrs EVELYN TARLTON, wife of Elmer Tarlton of Ege, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock standard time at Cedar Chapel and interment will be made in the adjacent cemetery.
The death of Mrs Tarlton took place at her home Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock and was caused by cancer of the spine. She was a patient at the Garrett Hospital five weeks and was removed to her home May 4th. Her health had been failing since February 1929.
Mrs Tarlton was thirty-eight years of age and she was born in Jackson Township DeKalb County.
Her father Marion Shutt, and a brother, Samuel Shutt. live two and a half miles southeast of Garrett.
Surviving also besides the husband are five children, Theo Freeman, 18, by a previous marriage, and Marion J, Samuel E, Lyle L and Novella Tarlton.
