FARMER RITES ARE CONDUCTED
Walter Leroy Farmer, 66, of Evansville, Ind., died Saturday in a Newburgh, Ind. nursing home after an extended illness.
He was the son of the late Walter and Nancy Farmer who resided in the Shults community many years.
Survivors include three brothers, Phinous Farmer of Andrews, Texas, Norvil Farmer of Ferris, Texas and Phillip Farmer of Kermit, Texas and one sister, Blanche Citty of the Redland community.
Services were conducted today at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel of Princeton, Ky. Burial was in the Hillcrest Cemetery (Cedar Hill Cemetery is where the memorial is) beside his wife, Auda Mae, who preceded him in death five years ago.
He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy.
