Mari E. Emery, 92, of Lubbock, TX, passed away July 25, 2015. She was born in Lubbock County, TX on July 3, 1923. Mari graduated from Roosevelt High School. She was married to Lowell W. Sailsbury on July 19, 1941. Lowell passed away on January 26, 1969. Mari married Horace E. Emery on May 7, 1971. She worked as a receptionist for Horace E. Emery D.O. Mari was a member of Sunset Church of Christ and had a passion for singing and crossword puzzles and her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Warner, Zan, Danny, Stefani and Kevin, 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Come and go visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Resthaven Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in Resthaven Memorial Park with a memorial service to follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Abbey Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home.
