Robert Lee Stipes
Robert Lee Stipes, 68, of Griffin, GA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 31, 2014.
Robert was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Stipes.
He served his country in the United States Marines Corp during the Vietnam War and was truly a "Jack of all Trades".
Robert is survived by his wife, Faye Stipes; son, Joseph Stipes; daughter, Amy Stipes; son in-law, Bill Means; grandsons, Bobby Stipes and William Joseph Stipes, Jr; granddaughter, Faye Faye Stipes; brothers, Frank Stipes, Jr., Charles Stipes, Noah Stipes, Kenneth Stipes; sisters, Jackie Walden, Carol S. Dalton, Ruth Ell, Janie Newman, Lois Treat; and numerous other loving family and friends.
A funeral service will be held Monday, August 4, 2014 at 1pm in the chapel of Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel funeral home, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281. Interment will follow in the Fairview Memorial Gardens cemetery, Stockbridge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, from 10am-8pm.
