Eleanor May Spork


May 22, 1915 — Nov. 13, 1996


MOUNT ANGEL — Eleanor Spork, 81, died Wednesday in Salem.


She was born in Woodland, Wash., living in Mount Angel for the past 26 years, moving from Oregon City. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Silverton. Her husband, Earl, died in August of this year.


Survivors include daughters, Sandy Scaley of Oregon City and Diana Crawford of Pendleton, Calif.; son, Dan Bachelder of Silverton; brothers, Bill Clapp of West Linn, Carl Clapp of Oregon City and Don Clapp of Arizona; sisters, Hazel Poulson of Oregon City and Bonnie Fox of Shelton, Wash.; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.


Private interment will be in Portland Memorial Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Unger mortuary. Contributions: American Heart Association or charity of choice.
