Miss Amalia Miller, 34, died at 9 o’clock last Wednesday (13 Jan 1937) night at the home of her mother, Mrs. Catherine Miller, south of Chadwick. Death was caused by heart trouble and complications. She had been ill for nearly two years.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the home and in the Shirk funeral chapel in Milledgeville. The Rev. F.C. Boysen, pastor of the Jordan Lutheran church, officiated. Burial was made in the Black Oak cemetery west of Chadwick.
She is survived by her mother; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Appel of Chadwick, and Alma at home; and one brother, Alfred of Chadwick.
