Chilton -- Mrs. Herman Fiedler, 68, of Hayton, passed away early this morning at her home following a lingering illness.
Born in the town of Centerville, Manitowoc county, on May 12, 1877, the deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Franke. She attended school at Hayton and was married to Herman Fiedler at Hayton on Oct. 15, 1901.
Mrs. Fiedler was a member of St. Margaret's guild of the St. Boniface Episcopal church here, a charter member of the Chilton Women's Relief corps, and a member of the Morning Star of the Rebekah lodge.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Gaubatz, town of Stockbridge, Miss Norma Fiedler, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Lucille Be-Dore, California; three grandchildren; three brothers, Gustav Franke, Marathon City, Wis., George of Park Falls, and Otto, Chilton, and six sisters, Mrs. Gustav Guenther, Chilton, Mrs. R. C. Rathert and Mrs. Fred Reisener, Milwaukee, Mrs. John Wagner and Mrs. Arno Nillessen, Hayton, and Mrs. William Wagner, Grafton, Wis.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. Monday at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral home and at 10:30 a. m. at the St Boniface Episcopal church. The Rev. A. E. Pflaum, rector, will officiate, and burial will be made in the Chilton Hillside cemetery.
