“Blackie” was a retired welder with Brown & Root and proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII.
He is preceded in death by his parents Daniel O. and Amanda Sewell Rose and his wife Norma Jean Rose.
Survivors include son, Kenneth Rose and wife Etta; daughters, Ruth Elizabeth Martin and husband James, Sylvia Ann Rose and Pamela Jean Blacksher and husband Joe; sister, Beverly Tobias; nine grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
