BIXBY, Clair R. "Lolly"
of Lowman, NY passed away Thursday morning, July 2, 2015 at the age of 71. Clair was born July 5, 1943 in Elmira, NY, a son of the late John and Grace Bixby. Clair worked for the Elmira Water Board as a mechanic for 26 years and served his country honorably with the US Air Force. He is pre-deceased by his brothers, John and Richard; sisters, Camilla Heck, Shirley Hurley, Annie Schultz and Mary Lou Graves. Clair is survived by his wife, Geraldine "Gerry" Lowman Bixby; children, Kim (Tony) Glover, Tammy King, Teresa Moody, April (Suzette Laughlin) Borden and Joshua Bixby; 16 grandchildren; sisters Barb Hubbard and Phyllis Kibbe; sister-in-law, Patty (Jerry) Borden; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St, at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 1- 3 and 5 - 7 with military honors to follow at 7PM.
