Guy "Red" Brownson, 59, passed July 6, 2015.

Loving husband to Beth Brownson; devoted Dad to Jason (Rachel) Bednar, Cindy (Chad) Colmone; cherished grandpa to Emma and Noah Bednar and Connor, Colin, and Cora Colmone; caring owner of "Punkin" the cat; he is survived by his 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

He was a fond uncle and friend to many. He was a longtime devoted member of The Episcopal Church of St Benedict. Proud Union Member with the NALC Branch 1870 and proud member of the Downers Grove Township Democratic Organization.

He was an honored member of VFW Post 5696 and a lifelong member of the NRA. He was a unique humorist.

In lieu of flowers, donations on behalf of Red are appreciated to The Episcopal Church of St Benedict.

Memorial visitation at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue (On Rt. 53, ½ mile south of Ogden Ave.) in Lisle on Tuesday July 21, 2015 from 4-8pm.

Memorial Service on Wednesday July 22, 2015 at The Episcopal Church of St Benedict , 909 Lily Cache Lane, Bolingbrook at 10am.

Burial to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421.
