Megan Elizabeth Gibson, age 12, born January 21, 1992. Went home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2004. Megan was a member of CharismaLife Ministries and a devoted Christian. Megan was the sparkle of any room she would walk into. Most often Megan was heard asking if individuals were comfortable or if they had everything they needed while she was lying in the hospital bed. Megan's heart was always seeking to serve. Many times Megan would ask her daddy to count to three and they would then repeat "By His Stripes we are healed" Today Megan is healed and praising Jesus in heaven. Aunt Lora Gibson and her great-grandparents precede her in death. Megan is survived by her loving parents, Jeff and Kim Gibson; sisters, Stefanie (Kenny) Stone, Andrea (Jeff) Shaner, Natalie Gibson, Faith Gibson; brother, Jeff Gibson; nephews, Mason Gibson and Ethan Shaner; nieces, Cassady Gibson, and McKenna Stone; grandparents, George and Virginia Gibson, Edwin and Loretta Gibson; many aunts and uncles that loved her very much. The family would like to thank the Staff of the 4th and 6th floors of Children's Hospital for the tremendous care and love that they poured out on Megan. Your care for our daughter will not be forgotten Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., CharismaLife Ministries, 161 N. Hamilton Rd. (1 block north of Broad St. and Hamilton Rd.), where service will be Thursday 12Noon. Pastor David Swaggerty officiating. Interment Glen Rest Cemetery. There has been a Foundation Established originally to care for Megan's medical needs. The family will now be using those funds to help advance the research for Primary Pulmonary Hypertension Association. The family is asking that you consider a gift to the foundation in lieu of flowers. Arrangements by EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave. In the words of Megan: "I'm a fighter, I'm a believer, and I'm NOT a quitter"
