Silas William Prince, 44, of Damman, Saudi Arabia, formerly of Van Buren, died July 16, 2015 in Tampa, Florida. He was born October 6, 1970, in Fort Smith, to the late Bobby and Catherine Osborne Prince. Silas was a 1989 graduate at Van Buren, a member of the Army National Guard and a teacher for the International Institute of Languages.
Silas is survived by his brother, Ronald Prince and his wife Brenda of Fort Smith; his brother, Bobby Prince and his wife Jessica of Rogers; his sister, Debra Prince Ficklen and her husband Will of Rogers; six nieces, Valerie, Vanessa, Candace, Kiana, Courtney and Kasana, as well as a nephew, Keith.
Funeral services will be 10:30am Monday, July 27, 2015 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 to 4:00pm Sunday at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
