Linn Downing, wife of Thomas Barry Gotham, an artist from England who was living in E. Liverpool, OH when they married, he was born 26 Jan 1882, his mother's maiden name was Wood. Mother of Thomas Barry Gotham, Mary Gotham and Katherine Mary Gotham, she died in Allegheny General Hospital of pneumonia and was buried in Sewickley, Feb 3, 1913. Her mother stated on 1900 census Anna and Katherine were born in July 1881, this agrees with headstone, her death certificate is one of thousands by the same clerk where the birth year is incorrect by one year. Her marriage was 13 Oct 1900, the application says she was born in Beaver County, but her sisters were born in Sewickley and censuses show the family there. After her death Thomas remarried, Mary C. Wetterson, on 04 Feb 1916, in Los Angeles, he died 22 Dec 1941 in Santa Clara.
