William Hudson Arnold, known to his family and friends as Dub Arnold, passed on to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 9, 2015. Service: The family will hold a private memorial at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Woodland West Apartments, 2313 Lynnwood Drive, Arlington. Dub donated his body to science. Dub was born June 26, 1927, in Colorado City to Dan Arnold and Carrie Virginia Davidson. He was 88 years old. Dub was preceded in death by infant daughter, Darlene; his son, Terry Arnold; two grandsons, Josh Arnold and Colby Arnold; seven brothers; and four sisters. Survivors: He is survived by sons, Ricky Arnold and wife, Frieda, of Forest Hill, Douglas Arnold and Lisa Welch of Snyder and Gary Arnold of Snyder; adopted daughter, Loretta Dowdy of Trout; granddaughters, Cherie Hobbs of Hobbs, N.M., Becky Johnson of Forest Hill, Michelle Arnold Pettit of Texarkana, Texas, Erica Arnold Mathis of Rio Frio and Brandy Stachowsky of Durant, Okla; great-grandkids, Josh, Baylee and Micah Johnson, Kennedy and Brody Thompson, Teryn and Avery Lane, Brenden Halkowitz, Brittney Overhulser, Sterling and Keylee Mathis, and Austin and Blake Stachowsky; and sisters, Gertie Marie Cavet of Santan Valley, Ariz., and Pearl Ranger of Houston.
